We both have been friends since freshman year, obviously there’s a lot we have in common. A very obvious trait that we both share is that we both have very long hair. To us our hair is our prized possession. We wouldn’t know what to do if we were to lose our hair (we’ll probably go CRAZY). It sometimes is a lot to manage, but we love how we can constantly play with it & find new ways to not make it boring. Since our hair is long & we have lots of it we can do long braids, ponytails, & other fun things. We don’t want to be hairstylists but we enjoy doing things to our own hair. It’s always fun to learn new things.
Day 1 : This curly hair style is very easy to do. I naturally have curly hair but I made it even curlier by using the Conair You Curling Wand. I washed my hair then I let it air dry & then used the Chi heat protectant spray. Then I used the wand to get wilder curls. I love having volume filled curls. It makes everything funner when my hair is curly whether its for photo shoot or casual day.
Day 2 : This hair style is one of my favorites since it pushes the hair out of my face. It’s really easy to do too. I used a comb to part my hair in half & then I used a hair tie to tie it up. Then I used Tresemme Extra Firm Control Tres Gel Extra Hold to put back to stray hairs. It was very easy and fast to do. I would definitely continue to do this hair style.
Day 3 : This is called the five strand braid, it is complicated to do. I’m completely in love with it though. Everyone loved it as well. It’s the best thing to do on your hair when you want it completely off your face. It’s perfect for a hot day & it’s perfect for any occasion. I had this done for a Rapunzel inspired shoot.
Day 4 : I was trying to go for a 1950’s pin curl look but my hair didn’t want to take the curls. I was in the hair dryer with rollers then my hair was blow dried only at the scalp to bring down the roots. I then used the curling iron to emphasize the curls at the tips of my hair. I pushed my hair back & held it back with bobby pins. To help it stay in tact I used Tresemme hairspray. I completely loved this hair style even if it didn’t come out the way as planned. Prom was still a success.
Day 5 : I completely loved this bun. I put my hair in a low ponytail & then separated it into 4 even pieces. I then individually braided each strand. In order to make it a bun I brought up every braid one by one & used bobby pins to keep it together. I then used Chi Enviro 54 Natural Hold Hair Spray. This bun was for the Kleinfeld bridal dress competition.
Day1: This Hair style is very easy to do. However, you will need to put heat in order to accomplish it. My hair does not curl what so ever, so in order to achieve this look I separated my hair into small portions and used the Conair Wand to make the curls. When done you can leave it down and not use any products on your hair but if you know your hair wont sustain this style you should apply a bit of hair spray to make sure it can last you the whole day. This hair style can be used whenever, however and wherever you want, I assure you will look beautiful and will feel confident with this look throughout the day.
Day2: This hair style can be used to stay home, work out or take a walk in the streets of Manhattan. Rain, Snow, Sun or Humidity a ponytail will always have your back.The only utensil you need for this hairstyle is a scrunchy - which can be purchased at a beauty supply.If you want this Hairstyle to be still and very flat you might want to apply a bit of hair spray at the front top part of your hair.
Day3: This hairstyle is very casual but can be very classy if you please.There are many ways of making and using a braid.I personally use this regular braid on a day when I have nothing to do or just don't feel like dressing up.No matter what the reason is this braid will make you, your hair and outfit look beautiful even if you didn't try.
Day4: This hair style can be used for absolutely any occasion, For a walk in the park to a dinner date - straight hair will always work.For my hair to look this way I washed my hair then I let it air dry, when it was completely dry I ironed it with an infinitiPRO by conair flatiron.
Day5: I used this hairstyle for prom night.I believe this is a very elegant and sophisticated look. This style can be used for as I said prom, weddings, Sweet16's or any special high class event. This hairstyle might be a bit difficult to do depending on the experience you have with hair. However, it is possible to accomplish.To start I did a Boho Waterfall half braid. Then I secured the braid with scrunchies and bobby pins I applied some hairspray to make sure the braid wouldn't fall apart.I then curled all the hair and picked up the other side of my hair to make it less of a casual look to a much more elegant one.
